Capitol mucky mucks gathered at the Radisson Hotel this week to roast
outgoing Assemblyman Kevin McCarthy. This year’s roast, put on by Capitol
Focus, was the largest in the organization’s 24-year history, with more than
800 people turning out to send McCarthy off to Washington. The evening
continued its reputation as the Capitol’s see-and-be-seen event, with
everyone from Gov. Schwarzenegger to John Burton on hand for the evening’s
