We’re sure it’s just coincidence, but the same team that pushed for a new NFL stadium in LA county is now moving on to the next logical step – changing the state’s term limits law. The LA County Labor Fed and Majestic Realty have kicked in $400,000 to try to qualify the term limits change for the 2010 ballot. The initiative would allow lawmakers to serve 12 years in either the Senate or Assembly … Meanwhile, the Central Valley dominoes just keep falling. First, Jeff Denham was running for lite gov; then it was state Assembly. Now comes word that George Radanovich is stepping out of Congress, and Denham is running for the Senate. Radanovich was already facing a stiff primary challenge from Fresno Mayor Jim Patterson … And for all you calendar watchers, if you haven’t marked it already: The State of the State address is back in prime time. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s final SOS is set for Jan. 6. Remember last year, the delayed address was moved to the middle of the afternoon to downplay the state’s bad budget news.
