Personnel Profile: Charlene “Char” Booth

Charlene “Char” Booth

Capitol Weekly: How did you come to work at the Capitol?
Charlene Booth: I came to work for Assemblyman Mickey Conroy. I also worked
for Assemblyman Bill Campbell for six years. I did some volunteer work for a
while. But I’ve been in politics since 1982–I go way back. I use to work on
Pete Wilson’s campaign, both when he ran for senator and governor.
So I go a long way, you were probably in second grade.
