Letter To The Editor

Dear Editor,
As a retired police officer, I will be in California this fall to urge California to end its marijuana prohibition.  Why?  Because my experience shows that we could arrest a lot more deadly reckless and DUI drivers, we could arrest more child molesters, if we did not waste time on the non-violent marijuana user.
My profession needs to return to its true mission which is public safety.  You have a marijuana problem?   See a doctor.
Howard J. Wooldridge,
Citizens Opposing Prohibition
