The Adam and Steve show continues. Now that his buddy Steve Schmidt is firmly in control of the McCain campaign's communications shop, former Schwarzenegger communications director Adam Mendelsohn is on party patrol. Mendelsohn will head the communications for McCain's convention in Minneapolis next month. Meanwhile, Democrats are getting ready to party. Whether or not there are any legislators in town, some Capitol Dems are prepping for Denver. Our Davis sources say the former Assemblywoman was spotted at the new student orientation last week at the UCD law school. Must be prepping for that Senate run…We all know that Nicole Parra was unceremoniously booted from her 5th Floor Capitol office this week. But did the Assembly violate it's own policy in the process? Earlier this year, the Assembly ratified SCR 46 by Mike Machado, the anti-bullying ordinance. The language of the resolution states, "Bullying is not always hitting, teasing, or name calling, but may also include acts that are damaging but harder to notice, such as excluding others on purpose."
