Lobby Ledger

Old lawmakers never die. They just become lobbyists. So it is with former
Assemblyman Ken Maddox, who has signed up to lobby the legislature now that
his year ban on lobbying his former colleagues elapses. Maddox has signed
up, taken his mug shot, and opened a new lobbying firm, Maddox Government
Relations. Maddox, who was considered a GOP moderate in the conservative
core of Orange County, does not have any clients lined up, according to
paperwork filed with the Secretary of State’s office. But when that changes,
we’ll keep you posted.
