Experts Expound

The most recent USA Today/Gallup Poll shows Democrats with a huge lead in
their attempt to regain control of the House–a 23-percent lead among voters
in every group questioned. This is double the lead that Republicans had in
1994 before seizing control of the House. What is the likely impact of this
change in California? Will it go beyond Congressional races?

California might as well be in the middle of the Pacific. The race for
Congress has no affect here because Jim Brulte picked the Dems pockets when
he and Karl Rove engineered the gerrymander of California congressional
seats in 2001.
