Capitol Weekly Podcast: It’s the interns’ turn

Capitol Weekly’s Journalism Internship Program has been established for more than a decade, and in that time we’ve hosted dozens of interns from a variety of schools across the state — and even a few from outside the state!
Among other places, Capitol Weekly interns have gone on to work at the Sacramento Bee, the Los Angeles Times, NBC news, CNET, and even the White House!
This semester, we have had two interns: Julia Lindbloom of Sierra College, and Monet Muscat – at 15, our youngest-ever intern – from The Met Sacramento.
They sat down with Capitol Weekly ‘s John Howard and Tim Foster to talk about their experiences as interns, what they think of politics and where they get their news. All that and more on this week’s podcast!
