No. 59 Andrew Antwih

Andrew Antwih seriously looks like he could be in his late 20s, but he’s been around the Capitol since 1994, when he was a Senate Fellow. After 12 ½ years as a legislative staffer and a stint as former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s chief legislative representative, Antwih entered the ranks of the third house in 2008 where he’s built a reputation as a detail-oriented advocate. At Shaw Yoder Antwih Schmelzer and Lange, another one of Sacramento’s top lobbying firms where he’s a partner, Antwih manages a broad portfolio covering healthcare, transportation, technology, housing and local government. He’s known for reading every word of a bill to ensure he fully understands the proposal, a habit that’s sure to play well with clients of the firm like Boeing, FedEx and the city and county of Los Angeles. Note: He is married to Teri Holoman, No. 9 on this list.
