After years of trying to resolve the failure of the State of California to address this public health challenge, advocates have reached a historic negotiated agreement.

Brown’s desk would allow city officials and private property owners to install charging stations for electric vehicles on curbsides of public streets. Brown has until Oct. 15 to sign the bill, veto it or let it become law without his signature.
