Lieu takes easy win in AD 53
Torrance City Councilman Ted Lieu defeated a trio of Republican challengers,
winning almost 60 percent of the vote in the race to succeed Assemblyman
Mike Gordon Tuesday. Because Lieu received more than half of the vote, there
will be no run-off election this fall.
Lieu received 59.9 percent of the vote in Tuesday
