How and why is former Assemblyman Manny Diaz becoming the Where’s Waldo of
California politics? Newspapers just keep putting him where he doesn’t
belong. First, it was the reliably error-free Capitol Weekly who placed the
San Jose Democrat in the primary in Los Angeles County’s SD 30. Then this
weekend, the Sacramento Bee ran a picture of Diaz in a piece on Assemblyman
Jerome Horton. Who knows where this guy will pop up next?
