The Skinny

From our It’s Good to be The King files, looks like there’s still some bad
blood between Tom Umberg and Don Perata over that little Senate primary in
June. Umberg had five bills left on the Senate side as session drew to a
close. Perata orchestrated the death of one of them. The other four were all
amended slightly–the author’s name was changed. So while the legislation may
live, it will pass without Tom Umberg’s name on it. Glad to see the two were
able to patch things up.
