On Election Day 2022, women took 11 seats previously held by men, three in the Senate and eight in the Assembly, bringing the total number of women in the Legislature to 50, or 42 percent of the membership.

So the timing is right for the California Air Resources Board to curb the pollution coming from those fleets.
