Dear Big Daddy,

Hollywood came to town last week and looked, well, like a fat guy in glasses. What did you think of Michael Moore’s Sicko circus?

Dear Bust,

As any old hack knows, politics is all about making yourself look good. Now you might think standing next to Michael Moore would make plenty of people look good. Heck, so many people thought standing next to Michael Moore would make them look good that there was a crowd of a few thousand following him down the street the other day.

In other words, those who pass near a bright-enough star will get their wings singed. Moore reportedly eclipsed the speaker at their press conference the other day, both literally and figuratively, which would actually make him the moon, but you get the idea.

At least the speaker had the sense to attach his chariot to the Spare Tire of Satire and hold on for the ride. As I quickly learned, a big part of being speaker is lending a hand whenever credit needs a home. Suffice it to say, Fabio N
