Rep. John Doolitte is subpoenaed in a congressional corruption case,
his home has been searched by the FBI, a federal grand jury is pondering his links to former lobbyist Jack Abramoff and his former aides already have testified. Should Doolittle resign?

Should he resign? Yes. Will he resign? Not a chance. This is the best job Doolittle will ever have. Does anyone believe he could make the same salary in the private free market he claims to love?

Depends on which side of the political fence you sit. For Democrats, he should never resign. For Republicans to have a chance to retain the seat next year, he’s already overstayed his welcome.
