Lobbyists’ group elects officers, directors for 2009
The Institute of Governmental Advocates, an association that represents state-registered lobbyists who practice before the executive and legislative branches of state government, has elected officers and directors.
IGA President Jackson Gualco of The Gualco Group, will continue as president. Christina Dillon DiCaro of Michael F. Dillon and Associates, was elected vice president and Connie Delgado Alvarez of the California Hospital Association was elected secretary-treasurer.
The group also selected a number of new directors. They are Christina Bouma of Capitol Connection, Jason Gonsalves of Joe A. Gonsalves & Son, and Juanita Martinez of KP Public Affairs.
Directors re-elected for another term were James R. Cassie of Capitol Strategies Group; Dominic DiMare of DiMare, Van Vleck & Brown; Christopher Flammer of Wilke, Fleury, Hoffelt, Gould & Birney; Kristin Foy of Arnold and Associates; Sherrie Golden of the California State Employees Association, Roxanne Gould of AeA, Mary J. Griffin of Mary J. Griffin & Associates, Rob Groswsglauser of Governmental Affairs Consulting, Jamie Kahn of Khan Governmental Relations, Erin Levi of Lehman, Levi, Pappas and Sadler; Chris Micheli of Aprea & Micheli, Linda B. Muir of D & L Muir Inc., Bernie Orozco or California Cable and Telecommunications, Roy M. Perez of RMP Strategies, Kathryn C. Rees of Public Policy Advocates, Kathryn Austin Scott of Capitol Partners, Terri Thomas of Thomas Advocacy, Parke D. Terry of Greenberg Traurig, Judith Wolen of Judith E. Wolen and Associates, and George Steffes, director emeritus, of Capitol Partners.
Departing directors were Kathleen Cole, Barbara Ortega and Eloy Garcia.
