Capitol Weekly is a publication of Open California, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2012 to inform, enlighten and educate Californians about public policy and state governance, and to provide a platform for engagement with public officials, advocates and political interests.
Capitol Weekly welcomes commentaries and letters to the editor. Commentaries should deal with issues of statewide significance, be 750 words or less, bylined, and with a one-line description of the author. Letters to the editor should be 250 words or less and signed. Letters and commentaries will be posted online at the discretion of the editor. They should be emailed as a Word attachment to [email protected].
