Everyone who knows Sen. Jenny Oropeza knows that she has been out front on early cancer protection. Oropeza, herself a cancer survivor, issued a press release this week, “in the wake of [White House Spokesman] Tony Snow’s latest cancer,” urging people to receive regular cancer screenings. That’s probably the only issue that could unite the Long Beach Democrat and the former Fox News anchor turned White House flack. …
