The Brokaw brood strikes again: Brian Brokaw, who successfully handled Kamala Harris’ campaign for attorney general, has just put out his own shingle, Brian Brokaw Consulting, and is open for business. Meanwhile, the youngest Brokaw, Nick, a former Capitol Weekly intern who shamelessly scooped his bosses on stories, is graduating a year early at UC Santa Barbara and has set his sights on law school. Naturally, we taught Nick everything he knows – and as soon as he ignored us he became wildly successful. As for the old man, lobbyist Barry, he inadvertently got left off our 100 List this year, but we’ll fix that later … Speaking of families, there’s a new addition to the home of Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher and wife Mindy: Caleb Cash Fletcher – seven pounds, eight ounces and 20 inches long – was born April 29.  Sounds like a dynasty in the making, although with some gender imbalance, as Nathan notes: Mindy is now outnumbered by boys five to one. Maybe there are some future interns there – we like exploiting Reeps just as much as Dems…
