Have horn, will toot: The Washington Post’s The Fix political blog just named their top political blogs around the country and our contributing editor, wordsmith and “Politics on Tap” TV host Greg Lucas was one of those named, for his blog California’s Capitol. California had the most on the list – its eight includes Rough & Tumble, The FlashReport, CalBuzz, Fox & Hounds and the Majority Report… The Skinny is everywhere: We spied Gavin Maloof in Vegas throwing dice at the Winn Encore casino, dressed in a Kings shirt and surrounded by various friends and family. The Maloofs, of course, own the Palms in Vegas, so if you’re wondering why one casino owner would go to another’s to gamble, rest easy: Apparently there are rules that govern owners gambling in their own shops. Don’t know if he won, though…
