You founded the National Black Justice Coalition to support African-American LGBT peoples’ civil rights. What inspired your activism and what’s most rewarding about being an activist?
I co-founded that organization and didn’t do it by myself. I guess just knowing that I didn’t just sit by and do nothing (is rewarding)
