Capitol Weekly Podcast: Lenny Mendonca, new head of GoBiz

Lenny Mendonca carries quite a load: He’s Gov. Newsom’s newly appointed director of the Office of Business and Economic Development, the governor’s Chief Economic and Business Adviser and, last but not least, the new chair of California’s High Speed Rail Commission.

He’s also senior partner emeritus of McKinsey & Company, the global business consulting and management firm, and he’s a founder and owner of the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company.

That’s a mix we can’t refuse, so Capitol Weekly’s John Howard and Tim Foster caught up with Lenny in his 18th floor office on J Street to chat about High Speed Rail, taxes – and beer.
